Computer Classes
LVFC regularly offers Computer Classes designed to help adults to become proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.  Classes are held in the evenings and are scheduled throughout the year.  All classes are held free of charge.

  1. Typing Classes
    This introductory class teaches students new to the computer about how to use the keyboard.
  2. Microsoft Word
    This class teaches students to use the word processing software for both personal and professional use.
  3. Computer Basics
    This is an introductory class to familiarize students with the basic functions and parts of a computer. For students with very little or no computer experience this class is recommended.
  4. Microsoft Excel
    This class teaches students to use spreadsheets and other useful applications of the Microsoft Excel program.
English Second Language (ESL) Classes
LVFC offers classes to speakers of other languages siching to learn or improve their English Skills.  LVFC classes focus on life-skills English (shopping, going to the doctor, job applications).  All Classes are offered free of charge and are available for adults 18 years and older.
Walk-in Classes are held:
Tuesday Evenings at 7:00 pm at the John Marshall Community Center
Wednesday Evenings at 7:00 pm at the Warrenton Library
